If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide or experiencing a personal crisis, help is available.  Call Lifeline on 13 11 14 (24/7) or dial 000 if life is in danger.

Suicide continues to be a leading cause of death for Australians, with around 21,000 Australians affected by the death of someone to suicide every year.

This website provides information on the range programs and services that we provide to the Tasmanian community, which include:

Telephone Crisis Support (24 hours a day)
Chats Program (for older people living independently at home)
Community Visitors Scheme (for older people with a Home Care Package or living in aged care in Southern Tasmania)
